Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and 8 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 6 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 5 years) of related experience as defined below.
  • Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in: project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.
  • Prior experience supporting SMTs on Airframe development projects or programs
  • Prior CAM and Earned Value Management experience
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret Clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership of Supplier Management Team (SMT) strategy, development of procurement packages, negotiation, and execution of supplier procurement contracts.
  • Develop sound stakeholder relationships and build a culture of reliable high performance within the team.
  • Execute the Airframe Section 30 IPT statement of work consistent within established budgets, schedule, and cost performance measures allocated to the SMT to achieve the program objectives to include coordinating across all functional disciplines.
  • Responsible for cost, schedule, technical, and risk management of AVS Section 30 Airframe SMT with a focus on program planning, Earned Value Management, Risk, Opportunity, and Affordability Management.
  • Develop and ensure adherence to budget baselines including conduct of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies and tools, when required.
  • Establish milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance
  • Prior program management experience with programs valued at greater than $200M
  • Prior experience managing NAVAIR contracts
