Requirements
- 3 + years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with US Federal government processes, structures, and functions.
- Awareness of key technology policy pertinent to Adobe, and willingness to learn policy areas that may be unfamiliar to you.
- Understanding of the core concepts around AI that impact Adobe and an awareness of the consumer protection policy space.
- Excellent interpersonal skills – both written and oral.
- Ability to develop strong points of view based on research and information gathering and the confidence to express and debate those views with colleagues and partners.
- Project management skills, from conception to execution, with strong adherence to prioritization, leadership and consensus building.
- Ability to be resourceful and decisive during times of ambiguity, and flexibility to work independently and in structured team environments.
- Self-starter with the conviction to push ahead and the humbleness to ask for help.
- Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback and ability to realign and act on that feedback.
Responsibilities
- As a member of the US Federal Government Relations team, you will advocate for Adobe products and policy with a specific focus on the executive branch.
- Have awareness of and work closely with the wider Adobe government relations team to include legislative affairs, policy and global counterparts.
- Collaborate with key leaders in the US Government to establish partnerships improving Adobe’s brand recognition and perspectives.
- Focus on technology policy, including AI, IT modernization and content authenticity as well as creative rights and consumer protection.
- Support the development of important business objectives through internal planning and external implementation.
- Work closely with the Adobe public sector sales team to further our US Government relationships through product knowledge and awareness.
- Engage at government-industry events and trade association meetings on behalf of Adobe; strategically build out your portfolio of partnerships and engagements in the advancement of Adobe’s policy priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- While not required, experience in the executive branch, either the White House or a federal agency is a plus.
- While not a requirement, knowledge of the budgetary process is a plus.
