Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Retail Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in retail analytics, business intelligence, or data reporting.
- Expertise in Tableau (Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau Prep).
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data extraction.
- Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and data governance best practices.
- Solid understanding of retail KPIs, merchandising analytics, and customer insights.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a Retail-focused reporting and analytics strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to define key performance metrics.
- Drive improvements in data visualization and analytics efficiency across the organization.
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards to track sales performance, customer insights, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
- Automate and streamline reporting processes to improve decision-making speed.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in all reports and dashboards.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on customer purchasing patterns, pricing strategies, and market trends.
- Use predictive analytics to forecast sales, demand, and inventory needs.
- Work with large and complex datasets, extracting meaningful insights to drive revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities for revenue optimization, margin improvement, and customer retention.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Marketing, finance, and store operations to meet reporting needs.
- Translate business requirements into technical Tableau solutions for various retail functions.
- Train business users on self-service reporting and Tableau best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Azure).
- Familiarity with POS systems, e-commerce analytics, and loyalty programs.
- Experience using Power BI, Looker, or QlikView as supplementary BI tools.
- Background in omnichannel retail, supply chain analytics, or customer segmentation.
