Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant position.
- Must have DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification.
- Must be able to maintain DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification via continuing education requirements or re certification.
- Must possess current TS Clearance with SCI.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the service desk, ensuring efficient and effective support.
- Supervise employees engaged in IT support functions, overseeing performance and productivity.
- Oversee service desk support, ensuring timely resolution of end-user issues and seamless access to technology resources.
- Collaborate with Computer Analysts, Programmers, and Engineers to assess software and equipment needs.
- Review and monitor departmental activities, implementing necessary changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to establishing organizational standards, policies, and goals, effectively communicating them to subordinates.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of industry concepts and principles to improve service delivery.
- Lead and direct the work of team members, making personnel decisions as needed.
- Administer departmental policies and procedures, evaluate performance, and assist in developing budgets, strategic plans, and policy modifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
- Special Operations Force experience.
- Associates Degree.
