Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in audit, compliance, or risk management within a technology or tech-related environment.
  • Strong understanding of auditing processes, internal controls, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on documentation, process improvement, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for audit partners, managing communication, scheduling, and documentation related to audits.
  • Collaborate with internal technology teams and audit partners to ensure smooth and effective audits, providing requested documentation and clarifications promptly.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between audit partners and different departments within the tech organization (e.g., IT, Security, Software Development, Infrastructure).
  • Prepare the necessary materials for audits, track progress, and ensure timely responses to audit findings.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline audit operations and enhance internal controls across technology functions.
  • Ensure that technology projects and initiatives comply with industry standards, regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to technology processes and initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed records of audit activities, findings, and resolutions, ensuring all information is up to date and accessible.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with audit software, tools, and systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., SOX, SOC 2) is preferred.
