Requirements
- 8+ years of total rewards administration experience required
- Four-year degree required
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist or other HR certification preferred
- Experience with benefit program administration, including self-insured plans
- Knowledge of HIPPA Privacy laws
- Strong knowledge of state, federal and system rules, regulations, and procedures regarding the administration of compensation, benefit, and retirement programs
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Collaboration, influencing and consultative skills
- Mathematical and statistical analysis skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple, competing priorities
Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and more.
- Establish internal and external service level agreements for Total Rewards administration.
- Be responsible for implementing government compliance of all total rewards plans, including laws and regulations relevant to ERISA, ACA, and COBRA.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and manage total rewards contracts.
- Coordinate the annual open enrollment process.
- Handle benefits data to ensure accuracy and maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrate effective total rewards administration through metrics, such as adherence to budget, quality of care, utilization, and employee satisfaction.
- Provide detailed and accurate reporting to internal teams for forecasting and budget management.
- Supervise the total rewards administration team.
