Requirements
- Candidates must possess a High School diploma/GED with less than 2 years of machining experience on manual mills and lathes
- Candidates must have the ability to lift a minimum of 35+ pounds unassisted
- Candidate must be able to work overtime when required
- Applicant must be able to work a full-time, 4-days per week 10-hours per shift, 1st shift
- Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL area
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
- The Machinist must be capable of reading engineering drawings to produce unique precision parts
- Experience in the manufacturing of complex components from steel, stainless steel and aluminum
- Mechanical assembly experience is a plus
- This role will work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience machining in a prototype environment
- Experience with Mechanical assembly
