Requirements
- Experience developing automated equipment from design to deployment
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly methods, testing, and troubleshooting
- Strong hands-on experience with high-volume production
- Experience crafting manufacturing equipment specifications
- Process validation and statistical analysis experience
- Manufacturing data analysis skills
- SolidWorks or other 3D CAD skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Develop new highly automated manufacturing lines from concept to production
- Provide design for manufacturing feedback to simplify designs for highest production efficiency and scalability
- Drive equipment and process optimization to increase yield, throughput, and availability while reducing cost and lead-time
- Manage installation, qualification, and ramp of manufacturing lines
- Lead validation of production processes and automated inspection tools
- Generate machine specifications, standards, and documentation
- Identify and resolve a diverse range of equipment mechanical, electrical, controls and software issues in production
