Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience reporting on manufacturing or other related industries, or business and economics.
- Demonstrated ability to develop sources and break news.
- Experience working in high-pressure, deadline-driven newsrooms.
- Strong reporting and writing skills that demonstrate mastery of journalistic style and standards, including ethical and superb news judgment.
Responsibilities
- You will cover breaking news and produce longer-form features.
- You will collaborate with colleagues across the newsroom.
- You will deliver clear and engaging reporting, adhering to The New York Times style guidelines and standards.
- Demonstrate support and understanding of our value of journalistic independence and a strong commitment to our mission to seek the truth and help people understand the world.
- You will report to a Corporate News Editor in New York.
