Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees, and members of management at levels of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, and statistical analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead the area team to get results using Key Operator Indicators (KOI’s): OEE, Scrap, Overtime, Manpower Deployment.
- Ensure everyone on the team is doing his or her job.
- Verify conformance of machines or repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances, and alignments.
- Troubleshoot for problems during production.
- Able to set up appropriate tools in the department.
- Follow safe work practices and company work procedures at all times.
- Assure work performed complies with QS9000 standards.
- Maintain tooling Quality STD’s and Preventative/ Predictive Maintenance program to insure compliance with QS9000 Requirements.
