Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Minimum of 4+ years of marketing in a consumer company or 4+ years in downstream marketing, market development, or clinical marketing in a medical device whose therapy required patient marketing initiatives, with a focus on early-stage or pre-revenue companies.
  • Proven expertise in managing Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for stakeholder engagement
  • Customer- and product- centric mindset
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute in a lean, fast-paced startup environment
  • Adept at building relationships with national advocacy organizations
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools, data analytics, and content management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own refinement and expansion of Synchron’s End User Customer Engagement. Ensure that the strategies and tactics are desirable and effective
  • Develop and execute initiatives that accelerate Clinical Trial Enrollment, including through pre-trial registries. This includes owning national and advocacy campaigns while partnering with local Field Market Development resources to support regional initiatives
  • Own management and analysis of Market Development data with Salesforce.com and Database vendors to drive execution and find insights to inform strategy
  • Build robust engagement tactics to ensure that patients stay engaged in online platforms established by Synchron
  • Develop meaningful and compelling collateral to support Field Market Development team
  • Identify needs and create messaging for physicians that manage individuals living with paralysis
  • Define the needs, claims, and workflows that will move a clinician from ‘awareness’ to ‘advocate’ such that they refer indicated patients for implant
  • Maintain national-level advocacy relationships, including managing Synchron’s presence at key events and prioritizing strategic engagements.
  • Ability and willingness to flex to other activities in the Commercial organization as the needs of the fast moving start up evolve

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to achieve results by working cross-functionally and collaboratively across a matrix organization, including scoping and managing projects.
  • Experience in market development for disruptive technologies, particularly in regulated industries.
  • Understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory landscapes, and commercialization pathways
