Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, hospitality management, communications, business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in event management, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry.
- Proven track record of planning and executing successful events, including industry conferences & tradeshows.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in event management software such as Cvent and other tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, Salesforce, Monday.com, iCapture and Jifflenow.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience in healthcare or technology industry events.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to event management.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute various scale events, including industry conferences, tradeshows, ancillary events, and experiential marketing activations.
- Develop event strategies and outcomes that align with overall marketing goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand event requirements and objectives.
- Manage event budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Source and manage vendors and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Ownership of event logistics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive deliverables and meet all deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on communication plans to drive awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to measure and evaluate event success using key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide post-event analysis and reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or technology industry events.
