Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy or operations, management consulting, and/or working at a digital agency
- 2+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing teams
- English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language
- A University degree is required for this position
Responsibilities
- Developing new operating models and organizational structures for our clients that encompass people, process, technology and governance within and across marketing organizations in order to unlock value and meet desired business outcomes.
- Lead teams to develop new and updated operating models, marketing processes, change, training and communication plans and aid our clients to roll-out and stand up those transformational changes within their organization.
- Gathering and analyzing information from our clients to determine the most valuable opportunities to improve integrated marketing performance and operations, and designing roadmaps, organizations and operations to deliver this.
- Identifying ineffectiveness and areas of opportunity within a client’s marketing organization and determining strategic implications. Defining detailed plans, inclusive of people, process and technology, to generate improvements.
- Engaging with senior and executive level clients to collaborate on solutions and approaches to improve and grow their ability to meet business objectives.
- Leading and supporting new business opportunities through client relationship development, pitches and RFP responses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strategic skills: strong critical thinker, ability to identify opportunities, break down problems in a logical approach and architect frameworks and solutions, and communicate strategic ideas in a clear, simple manner
- Subject matter expertise in different types of operating models and their benefits and challenges, and understanding of nuances in different types of agency and vendor models for marketing
- Experience designing and standing up marketing operating models and governance frameworks, including interactions with other parts of the organization and standing up tools and technologies to support
- Strong background in assessing marketing workflows and processes and recommending solutions to optimize resource allocation and drive operational efficiencies
- Experience with a broad ecosystem of marketing capabilities, including data and analytics, marketing channels, media, content, experience, and technology
- Experience working with and influencing executive leaders
- Experience driving large scale marketing transformations
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with limited guidance
