Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 0-2+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, sales and/or finance preferably within financial services or related industry.
- Customer-service focus with strong problem-solving skills and solutions orientation.
- Organized self-starter who can work independently on routine tasks, demonstrating attention to detail and ability to handle multiple programs simultaneously.
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure—shifting priorities with manager guidance in response to changing business demands while adhering to stated project deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate with at all levels.
- Experience working with creative service teams and processes to develop sales and marketing support materials.
- Willingness to travel, as needed, to engage target markets, attend financial services and marketing industry meetings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Technical aptitude including workflow, CRM, marketing automation and design, as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within the Marketing Strategy and Activation, Strategy and Insights Group and broader MFS groups such as distribution, product, compliance and legal to achieve objectives.
- Provides support to Sr. Specialist with proactively manage contributors to guide project teams to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- Completes assigned tasks to support managers and colleagues in ongoing business analysis and marketing planning. As appropriate, understand client segments, target markets and the MFS philosophy and strategies to assist with the execution of marketing plans.
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to initiate and successfully execute a variety of project types.
- Support the delivery of integrated marketing communications campaigns, as appropriate, overseeing tasks to support projects from initial execution to completion.
- Provide support of event strategy by executing the contract process, and delivering integrated marketing promotional activity, including email, social, and exhibition branding.
- Foster strong partnerships across team to support quality and efficiency of work.
- Provide support to key business partners by responding to requests and addressing concerns in a timely, professional manner—building trusting, valued relationships that result in client satisfaction.
