Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy and execution, with a proven track record of advising ed tech startups.
- Prior experience marketing to the NYC Department of Education, with a strong understanding of the local educational landscape.
- Strong background in email marketing, lead generation, and campaign management.
- Proven ability to design and implement processes for data management and customer engagement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the current strategy, audience, timeframe, and existing messaging.
- Develop a comprehensive marketing plan that fills in gaps and aligns with our goals.
- Collaborate with the internal team to finalize messaging and the presentation deck.
- Create compelling email content for various stages of the customer journey.
- Develop follow-up email sequences to nurture leads and drive engagement.
- Design incentives and promotional content to boost conversions.
- Build a master marketing calendar outlining key campaign dates and deliverables.
- Develop a process for ingesting email addresses, scheduling meetings, and tracking campaign performance.
- Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Establish a repeatable process for lead management and meeting scheduling.
- Prepare presentations and reports to track progress, measure KPIs, and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations and adjustments based on performance analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
