Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working in the app marketing technology or app marketing data space
  • Experience with digital privacy policies such as Apple’s App Tracking Transparency Framework
  • Strong expertise using SQL to extract, clean, and transform data in large, complex, nested, databases
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Data Studio for data analysis, insight synthesis and presentation
  • Strong ability to translate technical details into digestible summaries for a non-technical audience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong intellectual curiosity
  • Able to work from or relocate to our New York office

Responsibilities

  • Be the thought leader and business owner for all MarTech related topics for Duolingo
  • Manage data integrations for our mobile attribution platforms (Mobile Measurement Partners, Google Firebase SDK, etc.)
  • Collaborate with engineering on SDK implementations, privacy regulation compliance, and data sharing and backend integration for our performance marketing campaigns
  • Own existing marketing reporting, data, and dashboards
  • Lead root cause investigations to diagnose data issues and implement fixes
  • Partner with marketers to develop new dashboards and metrics as needed
  • Keep up to date with industry trends such as evolving data privacy policies, and propose internal solutions to mitigate impact
  • Serve as the main point of contact for agency and ad platform analytics teams, and lead joint data projects
  • Act as the main point of contact with our Growth Infrastructure engineering team by translating business needs to define technical project requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or another related STEM degree field
  • Expertise working with R, Python, or other statistical software
  • Experience querying large data warehouses (e.g. AWS/Redshift and Google Cloud)
  • An impressive Duolingo XP or streak!
