Requirements
- Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the IC or DoD
- 6+ years experience as a plumber
- Must be a US Citizen
- Master Plumber’s License, Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, (WSSC) Backflow Preventer Certified, and HAZMAT Certification
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Strong problem-solving and management skills
- High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation
- Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements
- Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
- Read blueprints and design specifications to layout the plumbing system.
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
- Supervise and train junior plumbers.
- Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.
- Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.
- Other duties as required.
