Requirements
- Built a passion for math through teaching or doing mathematics
- Strong mathematical foundations
- Enjoy solving puzzles
- Excited about helping students grapple with and enrich their understanding of mathematical ideas
- Classroom experience as a teacher or student
- Strong intuition and conviction about inspiring and training problem-solvers
- Ability to write and design for teachers
Responsibilities
- Expanding the Beast Academy math curriculum for elementary school students
- Creating courses, lessons, activities, games, and puzzles for delivery in AoPS Academy learning centers
- Helping advance online course delivery by designing courses and delivery tools
- Teaching newly-developed or heavily-revised math classes at AoPS Academy locations
- Developing or refining specialty courses for very advanced math students
Preferred Qualifications
- Being a bit of a word geek, reading voraciously and fussing over writing
