Requirements
- Proficient in the interpretation of complex engineering drawings, schematics, and process plans.
- Superior skills in the use of metrology instruments.
- Demonstrated skills and experience working with CMM equipment.
- Follows every reasonable precaution to ensure work is performed following the Health & Safety procedures.
- Must have knowledge of calibration methods.
- Competent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all work is performed according to the company Quality Management System (QMS) and that all parts meet customer specifications.
- Interface with in-house DND QAR during interim/final inspection of equipment.
- Immediately report accidents and incidents and participate in the investigations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Liquid Penetrant Testing as well as general NDT knowledge is an asset.
- Working knowledge of CSA W59, ABS, Lloyds Rules and DNV Rules for shipbuilding is an asset.
- Previous Quality Control/Assurance experience preferred.
- Demonstrated skills and experience working with CMM equipment is considered an asset.
