Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Life Sciences discipline and/or in a related field preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience; life science event planning including venue selection, contract negotiation, on-site coordination, and compliance documentation and reporting preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple external and internal stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal skills with capability to impact and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Capability to analyze and translate data into easily understood formats.
  • Broad scientific and technical understanding of biotechnological companies and products.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 50% to respond to organizational and KOL needs.
  • Proficiency of MS Office applications required.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Medical Affairs driven surgeon engagement activities including Medical Advisory Boards, Expert Panels, Visiting Surgeon Programs and Thought Leader Meetings. These meetings are a combination of virtual and in-person requiring appropriate scheduling, hotel venue and restaurant sourcing and contracting, travel management and compliance reporting.
  • Serves as front line communication for key opinion leaders, internal team members, sales representatives and vendors as it relates to the coordination of these events.
  • Processes surgeon invoices in a timely manner and may assist in the facilitation of the consulting agreement process.
  • May also assist with post-event analysis and debrief communication to necessary stakeholders.
  • Travel as necessary to manage on-site logistics.
  • Oversees departmental budget tracking including annual/monthly/quarterly reporting. Partners closely with Finance Team and Department Leads to ensure appropriate budget planning and visibility.
  • Assists Medical Affairs Team with social media plans and posts by working cross functionally with Digital Communications Team.
  • Plans and coordinates Medical Affairs department meetings both virtual, and in-person.
  • Champions Company efforts to stay on the forefront of advancement in peripheral nerve repair.
  • Participates in and represent team in internal and cross functional meetings.
  • Develops and delivers presentations and reports as needed.
  • Supports program impact analysis monthly and quarterly.
  • Supports Medical Affairs staff
  • Fosters effective relationships with other functional groups and with external collaborators.
  • Delivers work in timely manner consistent with business objectives established by management
  • Complies with all federal and state laws, policies and regulations
  • Complies with all company policies, procedures and SOPs
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications
