Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Internal Medicine preferred.
- Registered Nationally as a Medical Assistant and experienced in Internal Medicine or Primary Care.
Responsibilities
- Assistance during routine exams
- Recording a patient history and logging vital signs.
- Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results
- Entering lab / diagnostic test orders
- Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging
- Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Internal Medicine preferred.
