Requirements
- Bi-Lingual: Spanish
- Excellent ability to take medical histories, understand instructions, and document information accurately. High degree of diplomacy and tact.
- Beginner to intermediate computing and phone skills.
- Willingness to adapt to various job duties and cross-train within other departments.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of ‘Universal Precautions’ and adherence to HIPAA standards.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or other languages is a plus.
- Valid State Driver’s License preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review and update patient records before face-to-face or Telehealth appointments, ensuring all recent test results and correspondence are up-to-date.
- Clean and stock exam rooms between patient visits, adhering to infection control standards.
- Prepare patients for their visit and notify the physician or mid-level provider when they are ready to be seen.
- Greet patients, take vital signs, and document basic medical history accurately.
- Support physicians or mid-level providers during patient examinations.
- Restock supplies, check inventory, and keep all areas clean and orderly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid State Driver’s License preferred.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or other languages is a plus.
