Requirements
- Must be enrolled in pharmacy school with an anticipated PharmD graduation date of May 2027
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Enrolled in accredited PharmD program required
- LIC-Pharmacist Intern – STATE_MI State of Michigan required
Responsibilities
- Interprets physician’s orders checking for correct dose, drug, route, rate and frequency of administration
- Aseptically reconstitutes, filters, prepares and labels parenteral, sterile products, and chemotherapy, and dispenses other medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintains documentation and record keeping
- Participates in patient care activities such as drug use monitoring, pharmacokinetics dosing service and nutritional support services
- Provides drug information to physicians, nurses, and other members of the team in collaboration with a pharmacist
- Participates in special projects, such as data entry or research
- Completes all Spectrum Health assigned competencies by assigned due dates
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
