Requirements
- Strong proficiency with SQL, Python or R, and advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets functions.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to solve complex problems.
- Ability to take ownership, work independently, and yet still be team-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Support the enhancement and periodic tuning of BSA/AML models, including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer risk rating, blockchain analytics, and other relevant BSA/AML tools.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and generate regular compliance reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and improve tools and processes within the Compliance department.
- Leverage understanding of Anchorage Digital business lines to prepare and adjust data analysis and models as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the financial service industry, crypto industry, or a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Understanding of BSA/AML and OFAC regulatory requirements and risk management practices.
