Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of operating systems fundamentals and kernel device-handling interfaces.
- Systems programming capability.
- Master’s degree plus relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with additional experience as specified.
- Effective communication skills for customer and team interactions.
- Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement core data solutions.
- Engage in coding and debugging using Python and C++ programming language.
- Lead small-to-medium-sized projects as an MTS 2, mentoring junior engineers.
- Contribute to the design and optimization of distributed systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving customer escalations alongside SRE engineers.
- Participate in technical discussions and project planning meetings.
- Conduct technical screenings and interviews for potential candidates.
- Achieve project milestones and set foundations for leading larger projects in subsequent years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of C++ is optional but desirable.
- Familiarity with Git and knowledge of file systems (nice to have).
