Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in AI/ML domains.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Go programming languages.
- Strong background in architecting and designing scalable software components.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, large data set management, and predictive analytics.
- Ability to write efficient, thread-safe, and high-performance code.
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments, preferably in scaling software products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software components for the Nutanix Cloud Management product, focusing on performance and efficiency.
- Mentor a small team of 2-3 junior engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
- Implement the complete software development life cycle for assigned features, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate closely with product management and UX teams to define functionality and align on customer use cases.
- Conduct regular code reviews and promote best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Establish and manage transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Lead initiatives to innovate and enhance monitoring, automation, and remediation services for Day 2 operations.
- Set and achieve first-year objectives related to product enhancements, team development, and customer satisfaction metrics.
