Requirements
- Professional series Certification (e.g. MCSE [AD or Exchange], MCITP (AD or Exchange)
- IAT III – (CISA, GCIH, GCED, CCNP Security, CASP or CISSP (Associate)
- 7 years related experience with Microsoft Exchange
Responsibilities
- Supports the overall health of technologies associated with the Enterprise Messaging environment.
- Provides Microsoft Enterprise Exchange operational configuration management support.
- Resolves Tier III messaging tickets.
- Configures Antivirus products and HBSS as they relate to Exchange Servers.
- Provides guidance and instruction (to include written documentation) such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and inputs into the knowledge management system repository to the service desk for handling standard Message related incidents and service requests.
- Provides documentation, guidance and instruction to the Tier I and Tier II service desks for handling standard Messaging related incidents, work orders and service requests.
- Monitors the health of Messaging systems with provided event management tools.
- Implements monitoring tools thresholds and conducts proactive event remediation.
- Ensures that any latency is identified and mitigated/remediated upon discovery in accordance with required response times.
- Monitors availability of system upgrades.
- Provides analysis and remediation for Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical implementation Guidelines (STIG) for all responsible technologies in preparation for annual Commanders Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI).
