Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of office/customer service experience or master’s degree
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including familiarity with or the ability to learn tools like Workday
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience supervising and training student workers
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all academic administrative, organizational logistics and communications associated with the MIE Graduate Programs
  • Serve in the Student Employment Partner and Timekeeper role in Workday
  • Processes all student related personnel forms, both graduate and undergraduate
  • Oversees the placement of student workers and maintains student aid balances
  • Serves as the MIE webmaster which includes maintaining the website, creating new pages and updating pages
  • Act as a back-up for the office staff, including the Undergraduate Programs Coordinator, with associated cross-training

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 or more years experience in a university setting
  • Familiarity with Workday, Graduate Programs and Graduate School rules and regulations
