Requirements
- Extensive experience in building data platforms
- Experience in data modeling
- Experience in data warehousing
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
- Deep understanding of data engineering tools such as Python, Airflow, and PL/SQL
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data architectures that support data science and machine learning projects
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for structured and unstructured data
- Architect and manage the organization’s data warehouse, primarily using the Snowflake platform
- Oversee the integration of various data sources into the data warehouse, ensuring data quality and consistency
- Design and manage ML data solutions on AWS, utilizing services such as Amazon SageMaker AI, S3, EMR, and other relevant AWS data services
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow for ETL/ELT processes
- Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business intelligence teams to design and implement data solutions that meet business needs
- Collaborate with the BI team to ensure that data models support reporting and analytics needs, particularly in tools like Power BI
