Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
OR Graduation from an accredited Sonography Program
OR Graduate from an accredited Magnetic Resonance Program
ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist
OR ARRT (MRI) – Radiography – American Register of Radiologic Technologists
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
SGMF – CVENI-Certified Venipuncture or equivalent
General knowledge of diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment
Capable of performing routine MRI examinations
Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Possess written and verbal communications skills
Well-developed time management and organizational skills
General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems
Work independently, as well as be part of the team
Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems
Ensure the privacy of each patient’s protected health information (PHI)
Build collaborative relationships with peers and other healthcare providers

Competently performs routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures
Produces quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease
Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills
Delivers accurate results in a timely manner
Gains confidence and cooperation from patients and their families
Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures
May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping orient other staff to the department
