Requirements
- Practical experience in feature engineering and feature search
- Practical experience in tree-based models and deep learning
- Practical experience in timeseries modeling
- Practical experience in production ML use-cases in areas including fintech and manufacturing
- Practical experience in LLM Agents
- Practical experience in AutoML
- Sufficient software engineering skills to conduct large-scale research experiments and build production prototypes
- Demonstrated track record of success
- Energy and ambition to build a product that is surprisingly good in surprising ways

Responsibilities
- Conduct research investigating how ML workflows can be automated
- Make sense of existing research and transform the latest academic research and best practices into production-ready solutions
- Source, vet, implement, and improve promising ideas from both the research literature and of your own creation
- Partner closely with customers to ensure their success in using the Delphina product
- Turn science and customer needs into product by collaborating closely with the cross-functional team
- Work independently with high levels of autonomy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building + shipping ML production systems
- Experience with data management and distributed data processing solutions (e.g. Spark, Snowflake, etc.)
