Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master of Science degree with 0 years of related engineering experience. (Four (4) additional years of relevant engineering experience will suffice in lieu of degree.)
- Infrastructure automation experience with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.
- Experience utilizing Linux command line and Linux based tools
- Experience deploying, configuring, hardening, and maintaining network routing and switching devices
- Familiar with network security devices (Firewalls, IDS, IPS)
- Active in-Scope, DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
- Bachelor of Science Degree and 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master of Science degree with 3 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD with 0 years of related engineering experience. (Four (4) additional years of relevant engineering experience will suffice in lieu of degree.)
Responsibilities
- Developing engineering and automated deployments for datacenter system configurations.
- Collaborating with engineers to install, troubleshoot, and redline documented procedures.
- Working closely with engineers and technicians in a lab environment.
- Authoring and maintaining technical installation, configuration, and update documentation.
- Using excellent planning, coordination, and documentation skills to ensure cohesiveness across the team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Special Program Access
- Experience with network information & event management systems (ISE, Solarwinds, LibreNMS)
- Experience with software defined networking technologies (NSX)
- Experience in programming languages such as Python, Go, etc.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Container networking
- Familiar with Agile methodology
- Familiar with version control, GIT experience preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
