Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 15 years’ experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Active Top Secret security clearance required.
- Experience with planning, coordinating, and conducting IAMD analysis including identification of IAMD objectives, methodologies, MOEs & MOPs, and tools and preparation of IAMD analysis plans, analyses, analysis reports and briefings.
- Experience in technical and operational basis of Joint IAMD including understanding: Joint employment concepts/operational requirements and doctrine for conducting active IAMD against enemy aircraft, cruise and ballistic missiles.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes user needs and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projects.
- Evaluates emerging IAMD systems and enabling technologies to assess their capabilities effectiveness and robustness in an operational environment.
- Synchronizes and coordinates efforts across IAMD stakeholders.
- Develops alternative analytical approaches to solve complex, not well-defined problems.
- Performs critical thinking and reasoning to provide comparative analysis that assess and delineate impacts of alternative courses of action.
- Deciphers complex solutions and prepare succinct results for presentation to DoD senior leaders for decision.
- Executes high quality, fully coordinated staff action packages meeting standards required for Joint Staff leadership decisions.
