Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of nurse anesthesia
- Current Ohio RN licensure
- Current Ohio Certificate of Authority as a CRNA
- Current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Current ACLS certification
- Must be eligible to obtain clinical privileges as designated by the OSUMC Corporate Credentialing Office.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellence in all areas of anesthesia practice including anesthesia case management, staff education, and clinical research
- Manage complex, unpredictable anesthesia situations
- Practice within established Medical Center, anesthesia, and nursing standards of practice (policies, procedures, protocols)
- Adhere to the Intensive Caring Value Statements
- Work as a member of the patient care team and collaborate with an MDA in the anesthetic care of each and every patient.
