Requirements
- Must be enrolled in BCTC -Leestown, EKU or Morehead
- Must be actively enrolled in a board-approved pre-licensure nursing program and provide documented proof of active enrollment
- Must have successfully completed clinical coursework to reach senior-level standing as determined by an accredited school of nursing
- Must provide documentation of skills performance evaluation or an official letter from the Nursing Program verifying specific skills completed
Responsibilities
- Participate in a 120-hour/168-hour practicum at BHLex
- Work with a preceptor for approximately two 12-hour shifts per week for a total of 120/168 hours through the remainder of the fall semester
- Transition into a staff nursing position after obtaining a provisional nursing license
