Requirements
- NP or PA Certification with active California license
- Oncology experience preferred
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history-taking and physical exams
- Diagnose, manage, and treat oncology patients in collaboration with oncologists
- Manage symptoms and side effects of cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and ongoing care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
