Requirements
- Nurse Aide certification from North Dakota Board of Health within 4 months of start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association within 90 days of start date
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, walking, and handling patients as outlined in the physical demands section.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to and assists in implementing plan of care that reflects the patient’s needs
- Demonstrates competency and ability to carry out department specific functions
- Contributes to the assessment of the health status of patients
- Identifies basic signs and symptoms of deviations from normal health status
- Reports the patient’s self-report/symptoms of pain promptly according to standard operating procedure.
