Requirements
- A working knowledge of occupancy utilization, workplace strategy, office design principles, and trends such as the mobile or collaborative workplace; literacy in reading and interpreting floor plans
- Great relationship-building skills and a client experience focus
- Responsiveness and initiative to ensure project commitments and goals are accomplished on time
- Highly organized with strong skills in managing client information, project details, priorities, and deadlines, consistently demonstrating a high level of performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to understand complex ideas and communicate them to others on the account
- Knowledge in utilization data analysis; gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data
- Familiar with desk-sharing concepts and methodologies
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, V-lookup, charts, formulas) and Microsoft PowerPoint (graphics, layouts, storytelling)
- Proficient in CAFM/IWMS database (i.e., FMS, Manhattan, Tririga, Archibus, or similar) and graphic tools (i.e., Adobe, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Possess a minimum of two years of professional experience in corporate real estate either as a vendor providing services to corporate clients or as an in-house professional in a corporate setting with a focus on areas such as occupancy planning, space management, interior office design, renovations, furniture planning, move coordination, or related facilities functions.
Responsibilities
- Support workplace strategies on various projects and assignments
- Interact with the client’s internal CRE (Corporate Real Estate) team and Line of Business partners
- Answer questions about the workplace program, space and occupancy, allocations, and utilization for assigned buildings or business units
- Manage space requests and move work orders to ensure timely completion and regulatory compliance
- Proactively develop space solutions including stacking plans, block plans, allocation plans, and/or adjacency diagrams
- Aggregate data from multiple sources and provide options for client decision-making
- Develop block plans to convey future use of space and/or layouts, using graphic tools e.g. AutoCAD
- Participate in the development of the business case for real estate action
- Ensure all seat assignments comply with adjacency requirements and deliver timely resolution of non-compliant seat assignments
- Perform physical space audits/walkthroughs as required to ensure the success of relocation projects.
