Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in occupancy planning, space planning, or facilities management within a corporate setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in occupancy planning software (CAFM/IWMS systems), AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data management, reporting, and presenting occupancy metrics to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor occupancy plans to support current and future headcount projections, optimizing space utilization across the organization.
- Collaborate with department leads, HR, and business units to understand growth forecasts, and translate these into strategic space requirements.
- Maintain accurate occupancy data, track space utilization metrics, and provide reports on occupancy trends and space demand.
- Use scenario modeling tools to evaluate potential occupancy and space solutions, balancing employee needs with cost efficiencies.
- Lead the execution of restack activities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient space allocation, keeping in mind ergonomic, environmental, and operational standards.
- Design and implement space layouts for office relocations, expansions, and reconfigurations that reflect company culture and brand.
- Provide detailed space planning solutions to optimize layout and capacity, including furniture and equipment placement, ensuring a flexible, functional workspace.
- Conduct regular space audits and occupancy assessments, proposing adjustments as necessary to enhance space efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Use CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) or IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management System) tools to maintain accurate records of floor plans, seating assignments, and space allocations.
- Generate occupancy and space planning reports for leadership, delivering insights on space utilization, headcount forecasting, and space costs.
- Contribute to developing and improving space planning standards and guidelines for consistent application across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in corporate real estate or workplace planning within the tech industry.
- Familiarity with design principles and ergonomic standards in workplace planning.
- Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., IFMA, CoreNet) is a plus.
