Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Demonstrated track record of good attendance
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- If Internal, no written warnings within the last 6 months or final warnings within the last 12 months
Responsibilities
- Ensure all product inbound, stocked and shipped is accurate regarding case dimensions, case quantity, inner pack quantity, selling units, I2 of 5, UPC, description and packaging
- Audit and inspect product daily to determine vendor compliance and recommend new packaging/handling requirements
- Ensure all stock and nonstock returns are completed accurately and timely
- Communicate all logistic issues to the General Office
- Work in other departments as needed
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Manager on duty or the Planning Coach
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business, supply chain management, transportation or related field
- Experience in a customer service role
- Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems
- Experience in distribution center operations
- Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or data management system (Lowe’s DMS preferred)
- Experience managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously requiring a strong ability to prioritize and manage time
- Previous power equipment experiences (e.g. Reach truck or RC)
