Requirements
- Associate degree in related field of study OR 2 years of relevant, Data Center support experience required.
- Willing to learn new technologies and applications, required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, required.
Responsibilities
- Have the ability to analyze data and organize it accordingly and be an excellent communicator with the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately to senior level management
- Understanding of BTC mining operations and standards
- Check price points regularly for hash price, energy, and BTC
- Excellent Computer Skills with experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Applicants should understand that this is a mentally demanding position that may require long hours; night, weekend, and holiday work; and managing stressful situations and conflict
- At least 3 years of verifiable Operations Center experience or related experience
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Support all incidents, changes, and service requests within the data center space
- Document all major incidents and teams involved in recovery within the data center space
- Shift work; flexibility in work hours is required
- Drafts concise, accurate situational reports, prepare and present briefing materials
- Have the ability to adapt and function during time-urgent situations
- Coordinate with the Manager, Security Operation Center on physical access control systems, identity management, facilities access, and access needs for special events
- Monitoring of the data center space and reporting of any suspicious activity
- Coordination with on-site teams to take necessary actions during emergency scenarios such as weather, fire, and active shooter
- Work independently with little direct supervision
- Effectively listen to, understand, clarify, and resolve the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and leadership
- Maintains an open, positive, professional working relationship with site personnel and leadership
- Work as a member of a team to continuously improve operational effectiveness, improve SOPs, and deliver support to the customer
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Genetec software experience or Genetec certification preferred.
- Expertise in Excel, Microsoft Office, Word, Power Point, etc.
- Strong IT troubleshooting skills – network, platform, storage, preferred.
- Experience with IP Cameras
- Experience with Access Control
- Experience with applications such as Confluence, Jira, preferred
- Experience with Slack, Zabbix, Databricks, Minder, preferred.
- Basic knowledge of blockchain principles, preferred.
- Understanding of ITIL service delivery concepts, preferred.
