Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering program with a graduation date of April 2026 or later.
- A Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy of information.
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and the ability to learn other programs.
Responsibilities
- Participate in R&D activities and support such activities for strategic product development initiatives that might give AAM an edge in the global market.
- Assist with Operations calculations related to the design of automotive drive train components.
- Coordination of prototype builds to meet delivery schedules.
- Manages time to accomplish results including project planning, cost, and timing details.
- Acquires knowledge of the department and its operations.
- Other tasks as assigned.
