Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in senior management roles within operations and/or program management
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a bias towards pragmatic and client-service oriented solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong track record of working with various levels of stakeholders, from subject matter experts to executives
  • Strong experience in leadership, meeting facilitation, program change and risk management
  • Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies
  • Strong track record of data-driven and methodical approaches to dealing with ambiguity; ability to distill and synthesize relevant information
  • Expert program management and meeting facilitation skills
  • Aptitude and desire to learn about financial services / derivatives industry

Responsibilities

  • Support Chatham’s Operational Risk Program
  • Conduct annual operational risk assessments to identify potential risks resulting from inadequate or failed processes, people, systems, or external events.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address high-risk areas, ensuring a comprehensive approach to risk management.
  • Maintain and update the operational risk framework, including the risk register and risk taxonomy.
  • Facilitate risk reporting and communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on risk status and remediation progress.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives
  • Work closely with program sponsors and stakeholders to structure, plan, and execute programs to meet organizational objectives and standards.
  • Identify, manage, and overcome program changes, risks, and issues.
  • Provide regular program updates and reports for stakeholders.
  • Work with other program managers and stakeholders to effectively identify relevant overlapping themes and manage cross-initiative risks and opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Availability to work in Chatham’s Kennett Square or Denver offices
  • Experience in financial services
  • Background in management consulting (client-facing) with an advisory firm
