Operations Director

5+ years of experience in senior management roles within operations and/or program management
Strong problem-solving skills with a bias towards pragmatic and client-service oriented solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong track record of working with various levels of stakeholders, from subject matter experts to executives
Strong experience in leadership, meeting facilitation, program change and risk management
Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies
Strong track record of data-driven and methodical approaches to dealing with ambiguity; ability to distill and synthesize relevant information
Expert program management and meeting facilitation skills
Aptitude and desire to learn about financial services / derivatives industry

Support Chatham’s Operational Risk Program
Conduct annual operational risk assessments to identify potential risks resulting from inadequate or failed processes, people, systems, or external events.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address high-risk areas, ensuring a comprehensive approach to risk management.
Maintain and update the operational risk framework, including the risk register and risk taxonomy.
Facilitate risk reporting and communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on risk status and remediation progress.
Drive cross-functional initiatives
Work closely with program sponsors and stakeholders to structure, plan, and execute programs to meet organizational objectives and standards.
Identify, manage, and overcome program changes, risks, and issues.
Provide regular program updates and reports for stakeholders.
Work with other program managers and stakeholders to effectively identify relevant overlapping themes and manage cross-initiative risks and opportunities.
