Requirements
- 2-5 years’ experienced in plant operations, with 1-2 years’ experience in operating a centrifuge, preferably a horizontal decanter type.
- 1-2 years experience P&L responsibility – revenue and costs, influencing EBITDA
- Strong leadership skills, demonstrate ability to motivate employees in a team-orientated environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Adequate knowledge of the tools, equipment and terminology used in the installation, rebuilding, maintenance, repair of Centrifuge, and auxiliary equipment.
- Must be able to trouble shoot any issues on the centrifuge and be able to monitor the flow volumes and maximize separation of grease and optimize the percent solids, and communicate effectively with vendors and manufactures to troubleshoot machine problems.
- Demonstrate adequate math skills for calculating machine throughputs and volume calculations, analyze, organize data, prepare records, and reports;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Office, Power Point and Teams
- Must have verifiable previous experience in automated plant operations
- Must be fully committed to following safety procedures
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing operating conditions
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the production operations and logistics at HRF – centrifuge and box transfer.
- Plan and manage departmental activities in accordance with company safety, appearance, and compliance standards.
- When required performs all the duties including operating plant equipment, machinery, processes, performing permit sampling, laboratory tests, monitoring meters, gauges, keeping a log of plant operations, and related records.
- Wear and properly use safety equipment and/or PPE when required.
- Installs, repairs and maintains or rebuilds equipment and machinery relative to the physical plant and its processes including, pumps, motors, variable frequency drives;
- Maintain acceptable inventory of spare items for the HRF unit.
- Coordinate with lab on treatment testing for qualification of products.
- Supervise and manage the HRF box transfer and wash station.
- Manage shipment forecast, inventory and production planning.
- Manage employees including PTO, performance, discipline, weekly time cards etc.
- Support continuous improvement and lean process development activities in support of company’s growth and customer requirements.
- Contribute to the development of policy and strategy.
- Drive the Sales and Operations Planning process for the HRF
- Maintain continuous communication with Sales Team to forecast volume.
- Approve operating expenses and billing for HRF
- Prepare and present monthly business results with backup detail to leadership

Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer skilled in the operation repair of pumps, valves and related mechanical and electrical equipment;
- Prefer skilled in the operation and programming of PLC instruments and panels;
- Previous lean manufacturing experience preferred (5S, 5 Why, Kaizen, Standard Work)
- Previous experience in operation integration – cost optimization, synergy realization, leading cross-functional teams
- Bilingual a plus (Spanish/English)
