Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
  • 2-5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred
  • Experience with inventory management systems, warehouse management software and transportation logistics is beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean Daily Management for Warehouse and Transfill
  • Oversee and set daily teammate expectations and goals
  • Set up and schedule any non-dedicated transportation as needed
  • Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers
  • Set goals to meet or exceed the demand for Transfill
  • Supervise daily oxygen Transfill operations
  • Maintain files of work performed including lot and batch number information
  • Oversee the shipping, receiving and distribution of USP Medical Oxygen Cylinders
  • Supervise and support the operational team(s)
  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, performance appraisal, and disciplining subordinate staff
  • Responsible for scheduling a daily work plan to meet productivity and quality goals
  • Track spending, budget forecasting, reporting, and analysis
  • Lead, supervise, and support the team leads, warehouse clerk, Transfill techs
  • Ensure training of all teammates
  • Ensure products and services meet the company’s quality standards
  • Conduct regular safety audits and enforce workplace safety procedures
  • Monitor and control Warehouse and Transfill costs
  • Responsible for timely procurement of goods and tracking inventory movement
  • Proactively manage demand plan and urgent requests

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred
  • Experience with inventory management systems, warehouse management software and transportation logistics is beneficial
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations (OSHA, DOT, FDA, and CHAD)
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for certification with State regulatory agencies of medical oxygen, where required by law
  • Must maintain training certifications for Medical Gases, Hazmat and PIT Training
  • MHE/Forklift Certification
  • Lean skills required
