Requirements

  • I have a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; AND two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
  • Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
  • Finalists must pass a comprehensive employment reference check and fingerprint-based criminal background check. A driver history check will be included for positions requiring state vehicle driving privileges. Adverse findings will be evaluated to determine eligibility for the position.
  • Agree to comply with specific security and confidentiality requirements of the department and its business units.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze how changes will impact different departments, teams, and individual employees.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of logs such as the Stakeholder Register. Ensure stakeholder needs associated with processes are explicitly understood, documented, tracked, and completed.
  • Assist in identifying potential sources of resistance to change and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Monitor progress of change initiatives and measuring their effectiveness using key performance indicators.
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders to effectively champion change within their teams.
  • Conduct Prosci assessments, surveys and other documentation.
  • Work with our vendor to help coordinate trainings, both UAT and end-user to equip employees with the necessary skills to adapt to new processes and system.
  • Assist in the revamping of OCM plans.
  • In partnership with the Communications Specialist create presentations from assessment and survey results.
  • Assist with the continuation of developing the communication matrix.
  • Propose new ideas for dealing with OCM issues as they arise.
  • Act as a reviewer of documents from an OCM perspective.
  • Introduce and educate others on the importance and benefits of OCM.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hold a current Prosci Practioner certification.
  • Have the ability to make effective presentations to, and speak in front, of small to large sized groups, comprised of department managers and staff.
  • Have a desire and ability to learn and master new technical and business skills.
  • Have some familiarity with project management.
  • Use a proactive communication style, troubleshooting, listening, and problem solving.
  • Be a team-oriented individual who promotes the positive aspects of even the most difficult tasks.
  • Have experience working on large scale IT modernization project.
  • Have experience with Miro, SharePoint, Microsoft Office suite of tools, specifically Teams.
  • Be able to configures and maintain data, track key metrics, and communicate results to enable timely, effective action planning and change management delivery success.
  • Have 3-5 years’ experience working in Change Management.
