Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in automotive parts or retail sales preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and software
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts
- Provide accurate information on part availability, pricing, and compatibility
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Stock shelves and organize the parts department
- Identify and report low stock levels to the parts manager
- Receive and verify incoming shipments
- Process customer orders, including special orders and backorders
- Coordinate with suppliers to expedite delivery of parts
- Track and follow up on backorders
- Answer phone calls and provide information to customers
- Prepare reports and other documentation as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Other duties as assigned
