Requirements
- Possess a High school degree or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare/clinical setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organization and planning skills; detail oriented

Responsibilities
- Reviews the accuracy of demographics, insurance, completion of forms, organizational data to be entered in the chart in a timely manner.
- Conduct New Patient Orientation/Administrative Intake for accurate intake paperwork collection. Functions as a service regarding insurance and other administrative procedures.
- Point of contact for billing information for Urinary Drug Screening (UDS) coordination and Genetic Testing coordination. Obtains approval to move forward with services.
- Follows up with financially responsible party who is not present at intake to review program cost and collects necessary documents for patient to start recommended program.
- Follows up with patient’s parents if joint medical decision-making consent is needed and obtains necessary documents for patient to start recommended program.
- Maintain patient charts according to confidentiality standards and policy. Maintain all patient’s, visitor’s, and staff’s confidentiality according to HIPAA requirements and Compass policy.
- Performs clerical duties to ensure efficient operations of the center to include computers, office equipment, copiers, fax, scanner, postage equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
