Patient Care Tech CNA Inpatient Rehab

Requirements

• Current CNA Certification.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Completion of nursing assistant training program (verification of nursing assistant training program completion required and C.N.A. certification required within 120 days of hire) and BLS.
• Completion of a fundamentals of nursing class with a passing grade within the past two years (official transcript required to verify completion of class and C.N.A. certification required within 120 days of hire) and BLS.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Clerical or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional.
• Provide patient-centered care while demonstrating values of Integrity, Trust, Excellence, Accountability, and Mutual Respect.
• Support therapy schedules and collaborate with therapists, nurses, and techs to develop goals and a plan of care for patients.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA experience or applicable healthcare experience.
• Current enrollment in nursing school.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience as a Secretary in a hospital.
• Experience using electronic medical records.
• Experience with word processing software.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology.
