Patient Services Coordinator – Veterinary Teaching Hospital

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent
• Three years of general office experience or two years of office or customer service experience in a healthcare setting; OR equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact and liaison between the general public, clients, referring veterinarians, and Veterinary Teaching Hospital personnel.
• Coordinate patient care needs through scheduling patient appointments.
• Triaging patient telephone calls to medical staff.
• Register patients and provide point-of-service admission.
• Maintain patient records and assemble patient charts.
• Initiate and process patient charge documents.
• Provide other general service support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in veterinary clinic/setting.
• Experience providing coordination and support activities to clients and clinicians.
